9 days of Rwanda gorilla and bird watching safari
Arrival and transfer to Akagera Park for evening bird watching
Akagera National Park features over 50 species of mammals, including elephants and buffaloes, among others. Most of these animals were reintroduced after their extinction. More than 500 species of birds have been recorded in Akagera National Park, and some of these species are raptors. Other species of birds that you will be able to see include the great snipe, shoebill stork, papyrus gonolek, and lesser kestrel. There are 9 birds of the 11 species in the Lake Victoria Basin Biome, which happens in Rwanda, as well as the long-tailed cisticola, Arnots Chat, among others.
As you are heading to Akagera National Park, the chances are many for you to see several species of birds, including the pocket little swift, mottled swift, black-headed and black-crowned waxbills, Archer's Robin-chat, collared apalis, crowned eagle, slender-billed starling, Grauer's scrub-warbler, common bulgul, village weaver, red-eyed dove, and numerous other species. You won't miss these species. Later, you will drive to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

A whole day bird watching experience in Akagera National Park
Today is the day when you will spend the whole day in the park, enjoying a lot of the bird species that you shouldn’t miss out on. As I earlier mentioned, Akagera National Park has more than 500 species of birds, and these will keep your day busy as you enjoy this wonderful experience. After breakfast, you will enter the forest and enjoy several species of birds that include the African Marsh Harrier, Black Crake, Goliath Heron, Great Cormorants, Long-tailed Cormorants, Bateleur, Cisticolas that are red-faced, long-tailed, trilling, Tabora, rattling, and winding.
Senegal Lapwing, Water Dikkop, Brubru, Rueppell's Long-tailed Starling, Amethyst Starling, Red-faced Crombec, Green-capped Eremomela, Miombo Wren Warbler, and bare-faced Fly Away Among many more are Bennett's Woodpecker, Brown Parrot, Red-necked Spurfowl, Broad-tailed Warbler, Sooty Chat, White-winged Black Tit, Flappet Lark, Souza's Shrike, and Crested Barbet. Giraffes, African elephants, hippopotamuses, reedbucks, and waterbucks are examples of other fauna. Other species of birds that can be identified here include the Spur-winged Plover, African Open-billed Stork, Egyptian Goose, Long-toed Lapwing, Black-crowned Black Chat, Familiar Chat, Black-winged Bishop, Arrow-marked Bab/bler, Greater Blue-eared Starling, Shoebill, and African Open-billed Stork.
Later, you will return to the lodge for the overnight stay.

Today, early in the morning, you will wake up, have breakfast, and later go en route to Volcanoes National Park to reach in the afternoon. Check into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

gorilla trekking experience in the park
Volcanoes National Park is the best park for gorilla trekking, and it features endangered mountain gorillas. The endangered mountain gorillas are very good features for the best gorilla trekking experiences, and they are the world's endangered species, whose numbers have been reduced. You will wake up, have breakfast, and later drive to Kinigi to learn about gorilla trekking. Later, you will be assigned to the gorilla family and enter the forest for gorilla trekking. Once you have seen the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them as you take photos and short videos, and after that, you will return to the lodge for an overnight stay. Full-day birdwatching in Nyungwe Forest National Park
Nyungwe Forest National Park features a lot of interesting features and is found in southwestern Rwanda, near the famous Lake Kivu and close to the Rwanda border with Burundi. The park is divided by a continuous line that forms the continuous water shed, and thus the park features different habitats for birds that include vegetation, water flow, and pedology, among others. The park features more than 275 species of birds, and these include several habitats for the birds, offering interesting birdwatching opportunities. Some of these birds include the 25 species of the Albertine Rift Mountains endemic birding areas, and these include the Rockefeller sunbird and the chapin flycatcher, among others.
Of the 23 species of the Gunea-Congo Forest biomes and 71 of the 74 species of tropical highland, all this makes Nyungwe Forest National Park the best birdwatching experience, and this is extremely interesting and wonderful. Therefore, after breakfast, you will transfer to the Uwika Information Center, and then you will start your great birdwatching experience. Here you will be able to see a lot of bird species, which among others include Rwenzori turaco, mountain yellow warbler, white-tailed blue flycatcher, archers Robin-Chart, collared apalis, Rwenzori Hill-babbler, chestnut-throated apalis, white-tailed blue flycatcher,mountain masked apalis, rockefellers sunbird, Kivu Ground-Thrushm,Great Blue Turacco,Olive Woodpecker, Rwenzori double-collared sunbird, variable sunbird, Northern puffback, Crested Flycatcher, and Barred long-tailed cuckoo, among others.

Today, you will transfer to Jinja City for the city tours, where you can visit the Kigali genocide memorial and city markets. You will check into your lodge overnight.
