7 Days birdwatching and Game drive safari experience in Uganda

Day One

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport-Transfer to your booked hotel

Today, you arrive at Entebbe International Airport, and you will be able to meet and greet our safari guide, who will brief you about the safari, and later drive to your booked hotel in Entebbe, which is approximately 15 minutes away from the airport. Diner and overnight at papyrus Guest House

Day Two

Explorer Mabamba Wetland-bird watching trip

Today, wake up and have breakfast. Have your packed lunch and be driven to Mamamba Wetland. You will access the Mabamba wetland through the motorized boat when you enjoy the birding species. Different species of birds, such as the shoebill stork, blue-breasted bee-eaters, long-tailed cormorants, squash herons, yellow-billed ducks, malachite kingfishers, long-toed plovers, and long-tailed cormorants. You will return to the lodge and drive back to Entebbe to your hotel. Diner and overnight at papyrus Guest House

Day Three

Entebbe city -Transfer to queen Elizabeth National Park-enroute stopover at Kayabwe

Today, you will wake up, have breakfast, and later start the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, found in western Uganda. On your way, you will make an encounter stopover at Kayabwe for an equator experience for lunch before continuing to Lake Victoria, passing through Mbarara city. Queen Elizabeth National Park features more than 612 species of birds, and it has four of the big five animals, which are easily seen, and these include elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and other animals, including forest hogs, among others. You will check into your lodge at Warujojo Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day Four

Morning game drive experience and evening boat cruise at Kazinga channel

In the morning, after breakfast, you will start the birdwatching or the game drive safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Birding here will be done through the game drives in the Kasenyi Plains, Mweya, and other tracks within the park. For those interested in mammals, you will encounter several antelopes, elephants, waterbucks, hippos, forest hogs, lions, spotted hyenas among others. After very early game drive, you will embark on the afternoon boat cruise, where you will identify several species of water birds.

In Queen Elizabeth National Park, expect to see birds such as the African Spoonbill, the White-browed Robin-chat, the Rufous-naped Lark, the Red-chested Sunbird, the Scarlet-chested Sunbird, the Yellow-billed Stork, the Saddle-billed Stork, the Yellow-billed Stork, Shrikes, Weavers, and Finches, among others. Watch out for animals like the warthog, buffalo, elephants, Defassa Water Buck, and Uganda Kob, among others. Later, you will return Warujojo Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day Five

Morning drive and then transfer to Murchison falls National Park

Today, you wake up and go back to the park for the final game drive safaris, in queen Elizabeth National Park and depart for Murchison falls national park. You will drive the whole day and later makes a stopover and have lunch enroute to Murchison falls national park. You will reach in the evening and check into your lodge at hornbill bush lodge.

Day Six

Morning the game drive experience and do boat cruise safari

Today you will have breakfast and after go for the game drive and here you will see the buffaloes, lions, giraffes, and the birdlife which is amazing for both birders and the normal tourist and this is interesting. Later, you will go for the boat cruise on the bottom falls, cruising past the several animals including the crocodiles, birds and interesting sceneries later at hornbill bush lodge.

Day Seven

Murchison falls national park- Top falls of the falls and depart for Entebbe International airport

After breakfast, check out from your lodge and set out for Entebbe via the top of the falls, where the Nile waters force their way through a small opening, providing a breathtaking view of the falls from above. Arrive in the late afternoon, and then be transferred there in time for your flight home.
